I wanted to be a mermaid today. It was cloudy, and the water was chilly and mysterious, and the water tasted extra salty. The waves were rolling softly, and I wanted to sprout fins and swim away into the ocean. It even rained a little, and I think it would be so amazing to be under the water and look up at the rain falling on the waves.
It was a beautiful day, despite the lack of sun.
